There are a few things that leaders need to do and keep in mind.
1.) Always remember to check if there are any applications for your Clan that need accepting. Reply to the thread commenting on anything that needs fixing, and, when all's good, post in all caps "ACCEPTED." After that, click "Move" at the bottom of the last post on the thread. From there, select to move it to the Accepted Applications section of the Archives. Make sure not to leave a message behing! (See number 6.)
2.) It's a new rule that only we, Raven and Dark, can accept rogues, loners, and kittypets, simply because there are so many of them. Were it just a bunch of kittypets, that'd be fine, but we can't be having a bunch of rogues hanging 'round all the time.
3.) That leads us to the next one. You must tell us before you start (or allow a member to start) a plot. This is just to make sure we don't end up with too many plots all at once.
4.) Leaders themselves are plenty welcome to come up with plots, we just ask that you either try to include at least one other Clan, or keep it inside your own. You will also need to alert me about this, though it is most likely we won't say much, unless it's a big, all-Park plot.
5.) Leaders need to keep track of their Clan's roster. When a cat changes rank, Dark asks that you change that on the post. This needs to include whom is whose apprentice, kits(so we don't lose track), and, if necessary, whom is whose mate. Also on the note of rosters, Dark will post them initially and occasionaly update them for you, but you need to be the one who usually take care of them. Feel free to customize them to more your style, or leave them the way Dark put them up.
6.) One thing that keeps things organized is: when you are moving an accepted bio, please, do not leave the message behind. Just below the bar selecting where to move the post to, it says something along the lines of 'Would you like to leave a message saying where this thread has been moved to?' You need to select no. This makes organizing the application boards soooo much easier.
7.) It is a leader's duty to keep all of the threads on your clans board cleaned up. If a thread is dead, please move it to the archives. This is used to make navigating the archives easier.
If we decide there needs to be further rules (more like guidelines), then I will contact the three leaders and alert them. Thank you. ~Dark-rah & Raven-chan [/blockquote]
