This shouldn't be TOO complicated, so I'm not sure why we wouldn't be able to do this, but it is just an idea.

Okay, in my personal opinion, I think we need to keep the rosters updated... =/ We haven't had them up for a while, but things are getting VERY confusing around here, with the seasons changing and such and no idea about how long a moon is or anything...

SO.

I was wondering if we could do the following to make things easier for everyone.

1. Keep an updated roster with every cat's appearance, age, mentor, and a link to their character log post.

2. Have everyone post that information in this bulletin so that it can all be found in one place. That would sort of also be like an activity check to see which characters we're using and which we aren't.

3. Find a system to keep moons and seasons correct. We're bad at that. xD

And when will the plot start? Ahh, we've got soo many loose ends... If we do decide to start the rosters back up again and such, I would be happy to keep track of it and update the ages of cats, which moon we're in, and which season it is. Please post with your ideas...and I'm sorry if I'm overstepping my boundaries by posting this as it is.

What information do you have in mind to be posted in this bulletin? It would be Clan-oriented, no? Would the Druids be involved? Just more questions to make life difficult. xD I'll just starting putting stuff in because I honestly think it should be done soon...Even if it's not stuff you want. xD

I definately agree with the rosters, it keeps us organized and up to date.

i also agree with the plot loose ends :/, we really need to start actually playing out the plots instead of just saying they have happened. its also hard for some of us people not in the "know" to figure out whats happening, what just happened, and what we are allowed to post or say with our characters

I think Stormeh's idea is a great one and I also think it would be helpful to have a thread about threads, like what needs to be started and responded to so we are not waiting for dark or raven to start one. we could just keep editing and re-editing the same post and it helps keep track of everything

Hmm, the only thing I'd hafta say is that instead of having a like to everyone's log, make it for seperate characters to their profile like in the roster's already put up. (since some people's aren't completly updated, like mine, yet)

As for plots, maybe we can have a plot board where people post plot ideas and the like. And as a bulletin thread, we could have the plots already in motion and their progress.

First off, I highly appreciate you all posting on this; it shows you still care what's going on around here.

Now I know I haven't been doing so much as I would have hoped, but I've been uber swamped with school lately. I can only hope thing's will get easier as time goes on.

I have just begun a process of revamping the site, as well as fixing some things that have needed fixing since we moved to this site. You'll note I just redid the Adopting board so it has sub-boards for it's various uses (including one for Plots). Please note also, that I have changed our rules for posting litters of kits. As much as I like having the information of grandparents there to base kits off of, I don't think it should be required. I think parents should be able to do more than just name their kits if they so choose. You are still welcome to use the old forms if you so wish.

Alright, on to the topics Stormeh brought up:

1. Certainly not a bad idea. I want to have the Rosters for each clan on a separate thread, as they are, but, beyond that, I'm open to suggestions for updating and changing them. What I don't want is for the Rosters to become too packed with information. They should be quick and to the point, with, as Stormeh said, links to the log threads that will give further information. What I would really liked to see is each clan leader updating their own Roster when it needs in and making it look as they choose. That means Wazo is in charge of TealClan, Raven of RavineClan, and Stormeh of CherryClan. I'll take BrookClan, the Druids, and extras (unless Fang wants to do loners/rogues/ect).

2. An excellent idea. Although, all I think is necessary is name, age, rank, clan and maybe mentor/apprentice. That should be good enough to update it.

3. The only problem with this is that the site isn't at a point were we are consistently active. Some months we're all on everyday, while others we get about five posts site-wide. If someone would like to think up a post/thread-per-moon ratio, we could use that...

As for season, I've just been updating it according to real-life seasons. Now, this may not be the best idea, as that means we have to wait six months four our kits to become apprentices and such. We really do need to come up with a permanent way of keeping track...

IN OTHER NEWS, I am tired of waiting. As soon as the assessment thread is complete, I will start a thread announcing the death of Rainstar. We need active leaders. As Redstar won't last much longer anyways, I'm going to continue (/start) roleplaying him as accurately as I can.

I agree, Dark. I think that they all need to be in different threads and such...and maybe more information can be provided about the Clan in each thread such as an in-depth territory description, a list of foods, a description of normal personalities, likes, and dislikes for the Clan, etc. Kind of like how it's all set up in the Warriors Guide book . I would like to have everyone post the information on here, however, so that we can get that under control first. That would be MUCH easier.

And I think that it might be a little bit overbearing to say that only Clan leaders can update them.. Perhaps Wazo and I could, since I think we're so in love with the ideas of rosters. xDD And, overall, we're pretty active, soo...

Perhaps these can be placed under the Information board?

It's difficult to think of a moon ratio, but six months is SUCH a long time to wait... =/ I think we should perhaps do every two weeks as a moon, but the Gatherings could maybe be every two moons?

For now, I think a great format to use would be the one that Raven used, so if you'd like to go ahead and begin your characters, anyone, then feel free to do so.

Hmmm, well, for cats that share litters, we need to have a consistent age because it's just weird that Fawnpaw is only seven moons while Stagpaw is about twelve. I'm not really good with keeping track of ages and I just guessed, mostly, so, if anybody thinks any of my cats are off please let me know. And I totally forgot my druids.
