(Alright, just so all know, this board is made for the patrol which consists of Sunstreak, Sootwind and Aquapulse. ) "Thats the spirit, you two!" Aquapulse exclaimed, with obvious enthusiasm. "Alright then...lets go! There's plenty to patrol...and I'm sure I need not remind you, but...do make sure each of you do pay close attention to your surroundings. You can find something new everyday, but you have to look if you ever want too." Aquapulse added. It almost sounded like a mini leture...well, peppy or not, he was defiantly a clan leader. Aquapulse turned and led Sunstreak and Sootwind outside of camp and onto their patrol. |

Sunstreak followed dutifully behind her leader and added spring in her step at the thought of being able to leave camp. It would also be an excellent chance to show Aquapulse that she was an able warrior and try to earn his respect. Ever since she was a young apprentice, she had strived for approval, perhaps an attempt to fill a void that her mother’s empty place had left. Even now, she craved praise and belonging. It made her feel a little weak, that a she-cat as independent and stubborn as her could have such a soft desire. It was something she had to live with.
Her ears twitched as they moved farther and farther into the forest, listening intently to the sounds of the forest. Now in their new home, with relatively new boundaries, and the druids nearby, patrols needed to be on guard more then ever. “Where to first?” the ginger warrior asked, addressing her leader with curious dark brown eyes.

(Well, this board is still open for Patmos, should she get the chance to join us. For now, lets just pretend her character is there. )
"We'll travel through this forest, crossing any two-leg paths we see. We will travel straight through until we reach the lower part with the waters. From there, we will curve back up, making a complete circle around Teal Clan territory. " Aquapulse said. It was a simple plan. Charge on through, surround, and come back. "Sound good to you?" He asked.

Sunstreak mulled over the plans in her head and nodded towards her leader, agreeing that it was a good idea to cover a wide amount of territory. "It will be good to cover the whole territory. With our recent move and the prescense of the druids, watching our land is more important then ever," she commented, her rich brown eyes contemplative.

Aquapulse nodded and lead the way. It only took about five to seven minutes before they reached the first two-leg trail. After they crossed it, Aquapulse widened his eyes slightly, in a thoughtful way. "Tell me, Sunstreak...what do you think of the Druids?" He asked her. He had been thinking about the Druids lately, and their strange ways.
