[frame][eyes]Those who set their eyes upon this undependable beauty cannot simply explain in simple words the awe that strikes their body; however, it is not the sharp jaded pools or sleek, feminine figure that makes so many befuddled. Cats watch the slender form of Scarlet, her deep orange bands making her slight form seem clearer, marking it as different from the drab and non-living earth around her; it impossible not to see her impossible beauty. It is not luck that makes cats catch her eye so frequently for her eyes - mixed with hues of flaring amber and shattered ivy - so often catch sight of others staring, her gaze nearly always sharp, shocking and striking beyond compare, shattering her victim like a blade. Yet, they are also able to flutter into view behind dancing eyelids, their hues betraying her own frustration and anger, and a mischievous smile. Once cats spot her, they cannot stop staring and so they unknowingly step forward - their own limbs, so lanky, so bare compared to her own - until they find themselves lost in her presence, forgetting her hurtful words and laughing smirk, to follow her every word. She has, evidently, captured the heart of so many toms without meaning to. Her beauty, her confidence soon become their everything -- that is, until she crushes them and beneath her death grip, the darkness begins to swallow them whole.
personality;; "Flagrantly immoral or unchaste."Upon first glance, the young she-cat is beautiful and serene and everything that toms want in a mate - someone delicate, gentle, easy to control - but once she opens her mouth, sharp ivories gleaming in the limelight, it is more than evident that the prior comments are far from the truth. She is - in fact - a very spoiled child, though unthinkably perfect in every way that she thinks is important, and despite just meeting a cat, she will inevitably become their strong ally or.. their worst nightmare.
However, looking deep, deep down inside the twisted femme is something else; deep down, past her black hole of a heart, is a tortured soul. She is not inherently cruel or evil, nor is she in any sense a "good" cat, but most of her innate moral inclinations have been completely eclipsed by the cloud of pain in which she is trapped. Her mother continuously verbally abused her, her step-father unforgivably beat her, so what was a cat to do? She will, unthinkbly, kill a cat if it means that she will succeed in the task that she is given and because she is not afraid of even the aspect of death, she makes an ever greater ally for Snake - someone who can do whatever he wishes as long as she gets something, eventually, in return. Although her loyalty towards the older cat may not be completly true - she would not give her life for his own, though she would do her best to protect and defend him - not even Snake would be able to doubt what a formidable soldier she is. Even as a kit she understood more of life than most cats do at death - such was the knowledge she was both blessed and cursed with. Her pain is beautiful, the way chaos and fire are beautiful - in a frightening and dangerous but terribly alluring way.
Another thing that cats soon recognize about her is that Scarlet is both brutal and quick-to-kill if irked. She holds knowledge of many ways to torture someone; inhumanity is her specialty. She does, however, know that she isn't supposed to do anything as harsh to please her personality -- though that doesn't mean she won't take revenge on someone who she finds ill at ease with. Her voice is often orated with a sense of cool tempting calmness - the type that would want to make any cat attack her, but is unable to - and laughing taunting, though underneath there is a sort of hidden anger lurking beneath the surface, ready to be used at any given time. Ah yes, her temper -- sharp like a knife, yet sheathed in the most beautiful way that you can never "expect" it to lash out. Her personality is completely different than her appearance, but she thinks optimistically -- that this works to her advantage as well.
There is no question, however, of how much of a intelligent and fearsome - though twisted - cat she is.
[in short, she is sharp, quick and to the point, yet holding the a certain aloof nature that keeps toms are their paws. they cannot help but be taken by her and her beauty, so they do not realize her true evil until they are caught in her devious trap - right where she wants them. her hatred for her real father and how he left them boils deep inside her, which would explain her annoyance and fury at Alizarin, but there is another part of her which envies her half-brother for he - so unlike her - resembles, and is the mirror image of, that great, strong tom that she wishes was her father. without that dark, deep pelt of the darkest ebonies - no matter how much it is tainted by a pale white hue - and smoldering scarlet-red gaze, she looks nothing like red crimson even if she acts so much like him. ]
other;; Alizarin's half-sister, daughter of the mighty Red Crimson and Cerise, hates her half-brother with a passion even if she hangs around with him - rather unwillingly - much of her free time, the only trait from Red Crimson' bloodline - other than his dark personality - seems to be in her paws and trickles of color found in various parts over her body; they are a deep, ebony hue. pattern][posture][gaze]Above all of the ebonite tom's features, the most catching - the most conniving possibly - are his eyes. A grim, hidden sickness must have struck him when they watch his blood-thirsty eyes, leeched of all emotions and shades of blue or gold, but alas -- this is not true. Looking as if he rose from the dead, Alizarin - so much like his
father - has eyes of a cold, bittersweet scarlet-red. Red Crimson gave others deadly, killer-horrific looks that were just enough to set any cat running, and succumb to his very presence. Although his single son has the same exact power as well, seldom cats will find the light-spirited tom glaring down at another victim - as long as they haven't done something to irk him terribly - as his eyes are often brightened with a shocking scarlet-hue, flecks of sapphire and topaz often dancing between those warm pools. With his mouth curved into the usual laughing grin, or the occasional mocking smile, his son has
almost never - only once, really - used the shivering power that Red Crimson constantly used on his son.
This time around, the cat cursed with those unfathable blood-curling eyes, the victim doesn't seem to be all that cursed - on the
outside - because most cats don't have trouble talking to him. Still... it's quite hard
not to stare when young Alizarin fixes those around him with that questioning, simply innocent yet deadly, ruby gaze. Cats still find him hard to talk to, however, because his striking gaze, so abnormal and inflamed, is something incredibly difficult to ignore. Always deathly calm in those
missions that Snake sends him on, the dark tom-cat can stare blankly at a cat - those blood-shot eyes staring through you as if he's reading your every thought as he
rips your soul and when he wants to, he can send that creature shivering, or twitching maybe, with fear. Unlike his sister - who
wants the curse - or his father, the son of Red Crimson does not have the intentions of killing those around him -- his heart is still young and pure; he wants to
help the world and being with Snake, he feels, is the best way to do that.
But to all those who can look beyond his heated, and laughing, blood-scarlet pools, he can be beyond handsome. His face is perfectly carved and one that would surely strike a sense of jealousy and lust in any cat - tom or she-cat is irrelevant to the matter. Though the painting is impossibly handsome, they also sent a frightening sense of forbidding danger, as the slicing angles of them are sharp enough to wound. He has a face that would be graced on an aristocracy; it is surely one that once revealed nothing but regal and glorious thoughts, but after being refined is not afraid to throw many wicked, or sinister thoughts in there. Handsome, striking as the features are, there are flaws within them, as if to save the cat the burden of perfection.
There a smaller, less noticible scars and perhaps his lack of them is because of his young age, but Alizarin - anyway - is not the cat to gloat about that. There is only one - terribly painful - memory that he can recall that may be worth gloating about, but he'd rather just cringe away and change the topic. It is a large, rough mark behind his hind legs, an error in his appearance that he'd rather not speak of. The dark, silver shade wrapping below his haunches and back countless times before they reach the small valley of his ears. Not many notice it, curtsy of his thick, sable fur. He does not talk about it because the memories are too constricting, too agonizing.
Father.
Dark, starless and lustrous fur is sleek as it streams upon his long, powerful and well-muscled frame. Looking as if he's made up complete silk when he strides forward, the muscles ripple freely under his shoulders - an excellent example of his strength. Alizarin is built in a lean and sleek manner, although with hard and corded muscles that slide sleekly over long bones he doesn't have the slow and bulky appearance some are burdened with.
With a height that towers over most, he has simple shoulders with undefined strength hiding beneath, paired with lean hips and limbs that are not only incredibly powerful, but hold a sense of modest grace that may stop any cat in their tracks before they're caught in his amazing swiftness. The obsidian blanket - covered in splashes of pale ivory - that covers his frame is short, but silky and lustrous, and whether it lies warm or raked by a cold wind, it slips across his well-muscled form with arrogant elegance.
A sweet, velvety voice escapes from his smooth lips, the sharp ivories glinting in the moonlight, every time he speaks - not matter if the words are jibing, or laughing. Something that sends a shiver up everyone's spine - his voice is
so much like his father's - the young soldier's voice is deep, rich and extraordinarily intoxicating - much like a drug that leaves everyone craving for more - and intensely powerful. Even with his voice pitched low and quiet, with the syllables that were directed to none but him, it has a commanding power to it, forceful and arrogant like thunder overhead.
To be short, he is laughter in it's truest form, but can also seem darker beyond compare when provoked. After all, he
is Amaranth's only living son; Alizarin is his name.
personality;; oh, you gotta be kidding me, you two-faced phonyThe young tom is quite a different cat on his own -- half the time, it looks as if he's an egotistical idiot, almost feeling as if he thinks the world of himself and the other half of the time he feels as if he's nothing more than the irritating fly, but what's certain is that he masks most of his feelings by a veil of fake jokes and marveling laughter, certainly acting as the youngest of his age group. Most of how he acts and speaks were drilled into him by his mother and father. His mother, a kind, caring soul, showered him with praise, and the young tom loved it so much that it almost went straight to his head, thinking he was better than everyone else. His father, on the other hand, mercilessly beat and terrorized the young soldier from the day he was born, ingraining into his son the darker nature he now possesses -- this would also explain his lack of confidence that shows when speaking to any older, intimidating cat that reminds him of his father . The only part - it seems - that has sprung entirely from his own nature is his perfectionist qualities. Alizarin is immensely thorough; he never leaves anything half done, preferring instead to wait the long (or short) hours needed to finish whatever it is. Other than this, though, his personality can be argued that it was never truly his own; rather, that he picked up the fragments left behind.
He is so quite unlike his half sister that his fellow soldiers - and some other druids - often wonder if they really are related, the only grand decedents of the late Red Crimson. And so unlike the soldiers that surrounds him, Alizarin is a cat that - whether he means to or not - fills those around him with a sense of hope and smiles, though to his enemies can - at any point - fill the very pits of their souls with the deepest, darkest foreboding. But above it all, the young solider is a cat who doesn't let his age effect him at any point in his life, whether it be filled with youth or the age of an elder. He takes pride in knowing he is one of the youngest soldiers under Snake's rule - perhaps even, one of the most skilled - though he never flaunts it or uses it as an excuse of any sort.
Much like his half-sister in this fact, he has a hard outer shell that many cannot see through or, if they can find it, penetrate it. Although at times older cats may label him as the irksome kit and forgettble idiot, Crimson's son is none of these things -- like his father, he can be cool-headed and calm in situations that would usually cause of his age to scream in frustration or cry in annoyance; like his mother, he showers the world with laughing smiles and much of his time are used to observe the world around him, still stubbornly believing that even the smallest of creatures have wisdom that he can learn from. One thing that can cats can be sure to count on from the younger cat, other than his warming smiles, is his nearly intolerable stubbornness that can be both useful and effective or horribly problematic. Only two cats have been known to pull himself away from things that he has set his mind on -- his mother and father, though undoubtedly Snake will - if given the chance - be able to do so as well.
Though he does bicker among the higher rankings, he remains cool throughout the whole conversation, something that is hard to do. Alizarin believes strongly in his opinions, a result of his high intelligence, and will stick to them even if the everyone else opposes them. He also tends to have some of the best ideas and will usually be the first to find a way out of any situation he is landed in. Something in his past seems to be have stricken him greatly and although the young soldier will seldom flash anyone with a frown - his smiles have been known to become forced and his jokes less laughable - he is very sensitive about his past. There seems to be a strange aura that surrounds him, unbreakable as a shroud of solid mist, but if you break through his soldier shell you uncover a young kit who just wants his mother back.
His loyalty towards Snake, who greatly resembles his father, is unquestionable -- however,
why he follows such a tom is confusing since he
obviously hated his father, who controlled everything with strength and anger. Snake is
just like him and yet, the clown of a tom continues to soundlessly follow the leader, somehow believing that things will be alright if he does.
Is it fear that drives him or something else entirely?
[cats know him as the youngest soldier - he certainly acts like it - who is able to reassure anyone and everyone, sending smiles up even the most gloomy faces. his world is controlled by laughter and grins, surrounded by a completly innocent aura, but cats know - oh yes - that he is a deadly opponent in battle. he is, after all, the alleged son of Red Crimson.]
other;; Scarlet's half-sister, living son of the valiant Red Crimson and alluring Amaranth, brother of the dead Vermillion, often hangs around with Scarlet - despite the fact that his head almost always gets chopped off - for fun, the only traits that seem to be carried on by his mother - except for his personality - are evident on the tuft of hair on his forehead, his paws, and barely visible pools of color visible throughout his black frame [the most distinct would be under his chin and behind legs]; they are all of a blinding, ivory hue.
