The Voices of the Past

The day had come when Firestar's reign ended. In fact, all cats who were alive from his day are deceased. They now run in the forests, swim in the rivers, hide in the underbrush, and hunt on the moors of StarClan's land. The cats are still living at the lake territory, though they had faded somewhat over what the cats refer to as the Dark Age, the period of darkness after Firestar's death. On that fateful day, however, Firestar was not the only cat to die...no, Blackstar and Onestar perished along with him, along with Russetfur, Mistyfoot, and Ashfoot. To throw the Clans into such turmoil was deadly; patrols were attacking for no reason, leaving most of the attacked and the attackers both dead at times. It's been moons since this happened; new cats were born, other prophecies foreseen, and other disastrous events happening. Four new leaders have slowly climbed into their positions and taken control of the four Clans once more.

Now the medicine cats have a stronger connection with StarClan...which may be a bad thing, for they have forewarned the four medicine cats with this ominous prophecy:

Once defeated, now returned,
the rising force at the perished day,
the envy of the stars.

But what could they mean? No cat knows what's ahead...but it's known by all that something is out there... Prey is vanishing, along with the occasional apprentice or kit...

Will you be a part of courageous ThunderClan, bold RiverClan, fierce ShadowClan, or swift WindClan in the effort to save the land of the Clans?
