What we'll do here is conduct a short roleplay sesion. A good roleplayer can make a somewhat boring situation interesting, so we'll start with something rather dull.
Since Midnightfaith is a TealClanner, I'll use one of my TealClanners, named Poppytail. She was previously a very fierce cat, but the journey has left her broken and mentally unstable. She spends much of her time with her brother Flamescar, so being without him now will stress her further.
You will reply, using your best roleplaying skills, grammar, and spelling. If you're unsure on spelling, I'd suggest checking. In a regular roleplay, we'll not expect you to be this punctual, but, for the audition's sake, please show us the best you can do. I shall be inviting my co-admin Raven to keep an eye on the audition as well and comment directly to me. At the end of the audition (probably about ten posts each), Raven and I shall post whether you are good to go and give you a few pointers depending on what we see. I doubt you'll have any trouble with this. In fact, I think I might have more trouble.
I shall be keeping my own skills as drab and boring as possible. If you can still do something with my pathetic responses, you'll prove yourself an excellent roleplayer.
First, let's see a good intro from you, setting up the setting of, oh, say TealClan's previous camp, just before they left. Roleplay her as deputy already. Nothing actionous should be occuring yet.

Midnightfaith moved softly from the warrior's den. Her white-speckled ebony coat glinted in the sun's cheery light. Her emerald eyes flicked across the camp, as she padded toward the center. She checked the sun briefly - it would be time to send out a patrol soon. She glanced around the camp, checking to see who was out. Poppytail, Flamescar, Tigerflower, and Lightwind were the only cats remaining in the camp aside from the kits, queens, and a few other cats. She padded over to the small knot of cats. "Lightwind, Tigerflower, I'm going to lead the patrol, I'd like you two to accompany me. I'm going to leave in a few moments, alright?" When she'd received assurances from both cats, she moved to Poppytail and Flamescar. She licked the tabby she-cat affectionately on the ear. "Are you doing alright, Poppytail?" Midnightfaith mewed concernedly, her voice soft. She flicked her eyes briefly to the ginger tom who sat by his sister, her eyes searching his expression. Finding nothing that worried her in his amber gaze, she shifted her attention back to Poppytail, and awaited the other she-cat's answer.

Now, see this is not a good introduction post. You started out well by describing the character, but never interact with someone elses character until they've posted their own introduction. How do you know if Poppytail and Flamescar are together? What if Flamescar's off hunting? What if Flamescar's eyes show pure madness, instead of "nothing that worried her"?
Introductions need to be indepth on the character, showing a little of her appearance and personality. Another good thing to do, as you are the first person to post, is set up a setting. TealClan's old camp consisted of a few bramble bushes and a tree or so. Tell what she's looking for as her eyes scan the camp, perhaps.
Now, without altering your exsisting post, post a new introduction, either just editting this one, or starting all over.
(Not that this is just constructive critisism.)

(Can do.)
Midnightfaith moved softly from the warrior's den. Her white-speckled ebony coat glinted in the sun's cheery light. Her emerald eyes flicked across the camp, as she padded toward the center. She glanced over to her favorite spot, by one of the bramble bushes. How she was going to miss the camp when they left. She checked the sun briefly - it would be time to send out a patrol soon. She glanced around the camp again, checking to see which cats were out. Tigerflower, and Lightwind caught her eye, they were good, dependable warriors in her eyes. She padded over to the two cats. "Lightwind, Tigerflower, I'm going to lead the patrol, I'd like you two to accompany me. I'm going to leave at sunhigh, alright?" When she'd received assurances from both cats, she glanced around the camp. For a moment, she wondered what was going to happen to the Clan, to all of the Clans. 'Only StarClan can tell,' she thought. She let out a soft sigh, and padded over to the shade of one of the trees bordering the camp. She settled down, rested her head on her paws, and tried to unwind a little before the patrol. Being deputy could be stressful sometimes, but she loved it - the way cats looked up to her to set a good example. She didn't really care if she never became the leader. She could serve her Clan and leader as deputy, and be perfectly happy. She was as content as she ever thought she could be.
(Is this better?)

Much!
A dappled she-cat sat just outside the medicine den. She stared into space, not really looking at anything. Poppytail didn't even look at Midnightfaith as the deputy came out into the camp. Instead she wondered where her brother was.
Here I've given you very little information. Please, please, please do not follow suit! Although holding myself back is really hard, so I'll beef up my posts as we go on. For my last post for the audition, I'll try to do what you're trying to do: post at my very best.

Midnightfaith flicked her eyes over to the medicine den after a moment, wondering what Cindernose and Windpaw were doing. She spotted Poppytail near the entrance, and wondered what the other she-cat was doing. She shifted and got to her paws, stretching when she did so. Then she padded over to Poppytail. She at least tried to make herself known to her Clanmate as she moved softly over to where the other cat was sitting. Once she was close enough, she licked Poppytail affectionately on the ear. "How are you doing today, Poppytail?" She asked, hoping that the answer she would receive was not a bad one.

Poppytail turned to look at the deputy. This wasn't Flamescar! She didn't say anything at first. "Where's Flamescar?" she said finally.

Midnightfaith hesitated. She should have known that Poppytail would ask about Flamescar if he wasn't with her. "I don't know, Poppytail. I haven't seen him for a while..." The deputy trailed off, sifting through her thoughts, trying to remember if she'd seen the ginger tom that day. She thought for a moment more before she spoke again. "I don't recall having seen him at all this morning. Would you like me to help you find him?" She inquired softly.

Poppytail glared up at Midnightfaith. She tried to stand up, but fell back down. "I want Flamescar," she stated in a kit-like manner. "Find him!" she snapped, showing no sign that she truely realized who she was speaking to.

Midnightfaith hesitated for a second, trying to remember where she'd seen Flamescar in the since the last moonrise. After a moment, she spoke again, calmly, dispite the slightly upset thoughts that were going through her mind. "It's all right, Poppytail. I'll find Flamescar. You just stay here, and relax. I'll bring him to you." After another moment, she padded off, keeping an eye on the other she-cat as she went. Where, oh where could that tom be? She wondered as she padded along.
