At this rate, the site will be completely dead by the end of the week. I need suggestions. NOW. If people can't be active, what can we do to get more members and pick the place up?
My current idea: work on redoing alot to the site. I have friends on another site who would probably be up to joining. The problem is, they all roleplay far above the standards we roleplay by. In order to get them to help out here, we'd have to up the standards, which means uping the rules as well... They're usual rule is no less than eight sentances per post. That's not too bad, is it? Once you get used to it, it's rather easy. But, I want your oppinions before I do anything.
Should we just keep the characters where they are now? Or, if we invite a ton of new members over, restart at when the clanners entered the forest, altering minor things here and there...? Again, I'd like your oppinions on this sort of stuff.
I'm not ready to give up yet. But, pretty soon, there won't be much left to save...

I totally agree that if we can get more members, we should absolutely up the roleplaying standards. I know I can do eight sentences per post, and usually I do at least two paragraphs, alot of times three. So I have no problems with an increase. Fang seems like the only other person around, and judging by the posts, I see no problem.
I don't think we need to completely restart but we absolutely have to get rid of the power positions that are not active and leave them open for tryout. We could just pretend that the move happened a while ago, replace the leadership positions and go from there. We could have BrookClan as the loner clan still left behind, have people join there and bring them back as a plot.
"many moons ago...the three clans left their homes, abandoning one clan...now they are back...blah blah blah"
and then something needs to change for the druids as well. I think alot of members would love to be a part of that but they need to have some sort of plot/conflict with the clans
I don't think an absolute erase needs to happen but I think if we fill the leaders with active people and have the plot center around BrookClan's return and the three clans here, it will all work out. If we go back to when they come here, it will go back into the rut of not knowing what to post, plus the new members will be kinda confused and not understand previous history. We need to start right now.
Dark, i think you need to take a leadership position so you can keep the posts going. We can also fastfoward some cat's ages if we have to, kits, apprentices, etc.
I would try out for a leadership role if we open them up since I am probably one of the most active
If you need help, just let me know!
edit:
So some ideas of what need to happen.. 1. open up leadership positions 2. update table on top 3. Advance the cats' age 4. create a new plot 5. update rosters 6. delete foxes 7. give cats their leader names 8. work on brookclan
just some thoughts

For one thing, I've always been a 'quality over quantity' perso, so I don't like the 8 sentences thing, but if that's what you want to do, I'm fine with it. I'd just hate to have to stop and count after every post.
I agree with pretty much everything in Wazo's posts and can't think of anything else to add... So for my opinions, look above. XD (Yikes, I'm not creative this morning...)

I think you'll find, Fangy, dear, that pretty soon it becomes habbit. It only takes a week or two of posting to get into the habbit of large enough posts. Most of your recent posts have been plenty long enough, deary. I think you have little to worry about.
Alright, Raven and I had a plot sort of planned out. I'll tell you how far we got, since it doesn't matter if the whole thing's ruined or not.
There's a Druid Ranger, a middle-aged one, probably, who's slowly worked his way up the ranks of the Druids. He is very respected and is slowly getting the Praisers to trust him beyond reason. So they never see it coming when he throws them off their positions. The Ranger (we'll call him Snakeclaw for now, since Raven liked a name with 'snake in it) likes the way the clanners run things-- with one leader. But Snakeclaw doesn't follow the clanners exactly, he doesn't take a deputy, keeping himself the sole holder of power inside the Druids. But his new rule isn't all bad; he's turned the peaceful Druids into powerful defenders-- or attackers. Then Snakeclaw launches his attack on the clans. After all, Taragoff Park is now full of some very useful warriors, they'd make excellent installments to his ranks. The clans, still fairly weak from the Journey, struggle to fight back. (Here's the part I just thought up.) Help comes from the most unlikely place. Enter BrookClan. What was once a prideful, ambitious clan of some-what friendly cats is now half-rogue. They're a tight-knit group, growing stronger by learning to lean on eachother. BrookClan blood runs with hatred for the cats that left them behind. Does the newest travelers to Taragoff help out their old forest-mates, join Snakeclaw, or rule the forest themselves?
That gives me a bigger leader position. Raven had volenteered to play Snakeclaw. Does anyone else have good warriors in the clans? I love Hawky and she's a good roleplayer, but she hasn't been around. What should we say happened to Redstorm? Perhaps CherryClan revolted against him? I wish Stormeh were here, Ravenflight would make an excellent leader of the clan...
We have to clans without leaders. With Pat gone so constantly, we're pretty much back down to one medicine cat per clan. Which is perfectly okay.
Is everyone okay with the plot, first off?
I need someone who knows some HTML. I want a new info table.
I'm thinking of putting the site on Maintainance Mode. I'll just make anyone who's really up to helping a staff member.

I think the plot is a good one ^ ^, and it incorporates all of the clans and the druids too, so I say lets use that
As for my good warriors...
RavineClan: Morninglight is, Racoonpelt i don't play enough, Beepaw should be older by this time, and Bearkit should be an apprentice
TealClan: Sunstreak is, but I'm not sure how old she would be and Lostmoon is kinda quiet but still able
CherryClan: Fawnkit should be an apprentice
BrookClan: Wingedheart and Fernkit should be an apprentice or whatever they will have
So I guess my best warriors are Morninglight, Sunstreak, Lostmoon, Beepaw if he is of the right age, and Wingedheart
So that's what I have to offer right now and I'll be happy to help in anyway I can, but im not so hot in html, but anything like updating rosters or posting, just let me know

*Feels like a jerk* I feel awful. I totally forgot to let you guys know I was leaving for spring break. We were in a really rural part of jamaica, so I had no internet access or anything. But I'm still here, promise. I just got so caught up in packing and stuff that I didn't realize until after I left that I hadn't posted that I was leaving on any of my RP sites, and I just got back like an hour ago. Sorreh Can I still stay? ((I do like the plot though ^_^))

It's okay, Hawky. =O I'd likely do the same thing if I was you. (My memory's getting pretty bad... o.o' )
And, as stated before, I don't care if you put the 8 sentences rule up. =3
Awesome plot, as well. =D It'll give me a chance to role play Twig more.
The only warrior I have is Arcticwind. And I already have Littlefeather for a ranking cat, so I want no more. =3
I know very little HTML... So I doubt I could help with that. But I could help with fixing up rosters and that sort of thing, I suppose. o.o'

I just sent Pat a Note on deviantArt. It says she was on four days ago (which is better than the several weeks I got last time I checked). I know she's been super busy, so I told her we were revamping the site to have it completely redone by the time school's out.
-hugs Hawky- Dun be sad! We're just thrilled to have you back! I couldn't help but think that the plot would be so much more interesting with Redstorm still there.
What positions are we opening? Open positions will attract new, perhaps more active members. I can ask a few of my friends from the other site I roleplay on to come help us clean up in exchange for a ranking position.
I've made a desicion. Wazo gets a ranking position. You've been here through all of this inactiveness, you deserve a higher position.
I'd like to hear from Rivera. If she's not gonna actually talk to us, I'm gonna make Lostmoon TealClan deputy(perhaps even leader).
I think that since the Druid Praisers are going to be thrown off their positions, each of us can have a Praiser as well as another ranking cat. (I already have two ranking cats outside of Bearheart-- Silverhawk and Swiftclaw.)
Here's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna start a series of Polls that I want as many of us as possible to vote and post oppinions on so I know what we all want fixed without getting completely disorganized. Here's what a few of them'll be about: - Archives - Applications and Profiles - Religions - Medicine Cats - Timing - Ranking Cats - Druid "Communers" - Ect.
