Flicker, flutter, fly ;;

-- just like the incandescence of a glowing candle or the flickering flames in a fire, Cinderpaw holds the same simple beauty -- the type of charm that sends many into a spiral of wonder. he doesn't look admirable like Talonpaw, nor gorgeous like Castro; in fact, he looks most like Tallstone even if their isn't a single blood line that ties them together. So why, in the name of great StarClan, makes him so different?

__ even as a newborn kit, he had always been the sensitive and more quiet of the litter; but then again, next to the boisterous Talonpaw, any cat would've looked simpler. despite his refusals, and his righteous anger when others refuse to meet his eye, the young tom receives all the pity and sympathy in the world from his clan members. he's only lost his brother and even though the sudden pain has scarred him greatly beyond compare, he still feels that he doesn't deserve anything that so many give him. instead of worrying for him, who doesn't deserve their soft murmurs of concern, they should be mourning for the late apprentice that they loved so much or, at the very least, be giving the same treatment to everyone else who's lost so much more.

__ however, when you don't rile his anger and bittersweet fury, the young tom is very much the presentable tom. a true gentlemen to all those who deserve it, bright green eyes glowing with happiness with every step, cats have soon learned to love the young cat that, at first, they all thought was silent. clever and easygoing are two words that he would prefer be used to describe him. His easy-to-come smile always is on his face, and he often dedicates himself to making sure that everyone around him is cheerful as well. though he is slow to anger, when he gets angry, his emotions usually form a grudge against the cat that sparked them. more often than not, he will never forgive that cat for what they did, even after moons have passed.

__ to be honest, actually, young Cinderpaw is pretty much the average cat in looks -- aside from certain over sized features and his much smaller frame, that is. with a small build, gentle muscles and undeveloped bones, his appearance is like most apprentices his age - soft, untouchable. small paws appear from underneath the tiny frame, brilliant jade-hued eyes shine out from the front of his face with a small, well-placed muzzle protruding outwards. the tiny pink triangle at the center of his face, the thin ivory whiskers shooting out from the ends of it, and delicate ears make up the rest of his face.

-- his pelt - as all young cats pelts are - is soft to the touch, and quite short, but lengthens in leaf-bare. Some of the hairs are beginning to grow, making for an adorable and plush figure. the color of his pelt is a lovely mixture of brown shades - varying from deep, dark brown to lighter tones of pale gray. this shading is further enhanced by sleek, black-gray stripes that run across his flank, and with gray patches covering his backside. but - the brown and gray hues are not the only colors upon this handsome kit, his chest and over-sized paws are splashed in ivory fur - no doubt a trait inherited by his father.

as for his eyes - they are a deep, soft green that will eventually lighten to the bright ivy orbs his mother possesses.

come on, let's break the silence ;;

&& __ one thing is certain, Crowflight is definitely not like any other cat seen on this earth. he walks with a grace that rivals that of a goddess, as smooth and confident as even the most practiced walk. his mouth if often upturned into a thoughtful smile, with the occasional troubled frown, but - if anything - the young deputy is not arrogant or conceited (or, at least, tries not to be) so a smirk, unless joking, is rarely seen on his silver lips.

&& ___ how he was at birth can be greatly argued; those who had seen him could've said that he was scrawny as weak as can be, though the queens often gushed on how cute and adorable he had been. in his teen years, he was awkward and lanky - that cannot be denied - and as well as quite confused, he was unsure of himself. he did not - and still does not - think he was charming or beautiful as every other cat insists he is. he just doesn't see it. However, like a tree which grows with age, it is evident that Crowflight has certainly grown into himself with a sleek figure, lean muscles rippling under his moonlight fur, and a nicely carved face, as well as that sharp outline of his jaw.

&& __ his base pelt color is a rich ebonite-granite, and when the moon hits the deputy's pelt just right the edges and tips of his fur are fringed in a breath-taking ocean-blue. unlike other cats where it is merely the moon glowing through, his pelt contains ivory hints that only show when the moon his shining upon his pelt at a certain angle. Overlaying the base color are Crowflight's tabby stripes, which are a dark color. Some say his tabby stripes are black, others say dark gray, and others still say dark white-silver. Whatever the color, they ripple and roll over the tom's pelt like the wind through the treetops and perfectly accentuate the gorgeous pelt of this pretty cat.
