Beepaw waved off Rainwhisker's concerns with a flick of his beige and black striped tail. "Don't worry about it, I know about it now and I am ready for it. You have other stuff to do anyway," he added smiling at his mentor cheerfully. "Ill see you later," he said, touching Rainwhisker's shoulder lightly with his tail and then bounded after Brownspot. His hazel eyes were glowing with a shadow of curiosity, eager to see what he would have to do to prove himself.
Morninglight nodded, turning her green eyes to Swifteyes. "Yes, it would probably be good to take both the apprentices out today at once. Twice as efficient and we will get more done. What did you have in mind for Rootpaw today?" she asked curiosity, her ears twitching towards the sounds of Beepaw and his departure from camp. It would be good for her to have something to do to take her mind off her brother's test. She had been worrying all day about it.
Bearkit shook his head. "I have no idea, there are not that many warriors left," he remarked. "Cometkit is worried about that," he answered, to her questioning look towards the nursery. "She thinks there will not be anyone left to train her..." he trailed off. Who would be his mentor? Who would want a handicapped apprentice?
Bearkit grinned, puffing up his chest which made him appear exceptionally large for a kit. The fluffy grey pelt helped a little as well. "So if I'm a warrior, does that mean I get to boss you around?" he asked playfully. He paused, trying to think of an edict for Dreamkit to follow. "On second thought, I can't think of anything for you to do," he said. He gave her a rueful smile. "So I'll show you mercy."
